Olympic Pools - Commercial Installation

“The story of the Olympic Pools & Fitness Centre dates back to 1940 when New Zealand’s first 50-metre swimming pool was installed. The Olympic Pool is part of the lives of generations of Aucklanders whether it be the serious business of learning to swim, keeping fit or just a fun day out.

In 1950 the venue played host to the Commonwealth Today our venue is still state-of-the-art and our friendly team is helping people just like you to set their own records.”

The Olympic is a privately managed leased Facility of Auckland Council. Since 1994 with the major development into an indoor leisure facility, the centre has been a premier facility within Auckland City.

Over the years the gym has had 2 major refits and 2018 Blue Fitness was successful in replacing all the Life Fitness Cardio with Precor and Stairmaster Cardio.


Late in 2019, the Life Fitness Strength Equipment was replaced by Nautilus Strength, one of the most iconic Strength Brands in the world. Although different manufacturers, Precor and Nautilus work very well together to create a premium look and workout experience.

The Nautilus fitness brand is widely considered the founder of the modern commercial gym. In 1970, Nautilus revolutionized fitness, incorporating its Nautilus cam design across a wide range of circuit training equipment. Today, the Nautilus brand carries on its tradition of excellence by producing gym-quality cardio and strength solutions for the both home and fitness facilities.

Installation was very hands-on with only space for a single truck to park in essentially inner-city Auckland. All products needed to be hand carried up the rear Fire Escape stairs, but the entire project was completed within 2 days due to our highly experienced team.

The configuration of Precor Cardio and Nautilus Strength is our initial recommendation for this project and since then we have worked with The Olympic to add more equipment, and accesories to the expensive state-of-the-art facility.
